CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint #4 Orange Wedges

I always have tendency to buy lip products, all of them, especially the orange / peach / brown colored ones. They are like guilty pleasures to me. So, yeah. This is another review of lip product, my newest baby, CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint in shade #4 Orange Wedges.

CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint was released before CLIO Lipnicure, but it has gone unnoticed (I think that's because all the hype caused by the lipnicure). I bumped into this when CLIO had a massive sale (up to 50%) on their korean website.

Product Description. Water Jelly Tint color and vivid tangle of collaboration. A lip stain which adds comfortable gel-like texture and vibrant colors. Lotus flower helps make a radiant, watery glow on your lips.

Ingredients. Water, Caprylic, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Painted poly Isobutene, Seven Hydroxy Acrylate / Sodium Acrylate, D Isostearyl Malate, 1 Dimethicone, Sorbitan Sesquioleate Oleate, Sodium Chloride, Cyclopentasiloxane, Microcrystalline wax, Octocrylene, Ceresin, Squalane, Polysorbate 60, Des Uranium Distearate Hectorite, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, silica dimethyl silyl acrylate, Propylene Carbonate, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexane Diol, Glycol Caprylic Rilgeul, Flavoring, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronidase Nate, Lotus, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin, Phenoxy Ethanol, Ethyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Mica, Red No. 218, Yellow No. 4, Red No. 201, Yellow No. 5, Red No. 202, Orange No. 205.

The packaging was the main reason that made me bought this. CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint in #4 Orange Wedges comes with a unique packaging. It looks like and shaped like a lipstick, but it does not work like one. The stick is actually a transparent plastic tube and it acts as the applicator. To use this tint you must twist the tube so the liquid can come out.

Like the description, CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint in #4 Orange Wedges has a liquid gel-type texture, makes the application quite easy. It glides smoothly on my lips. This is a tint, so it will stained your lips. Unlike almost tints that dries matte, this one has a subtle glossy finish. So I think this is a mix between tint and lip gloss.

On the promotional picture, Orange Wedges may look too bright, but it turns out to a very natural peach color when applied to lips. I personally fine with this, because I simply do not want having overly orange lips. If you want more orangey lips, I suggest you to apply lip concealer first.

According to the promotional pic, the color is buildable. I've only tried to build the intensity with double layering the application, and the color did look slightly more intense. But if you try to build the intensity after the first application already stained your lips, you will get more intense color.

The staying power is good, about 3-4 hours with eating/drinking. This is not as drying as another lip tint that I've tried before, but still not too moisturizing, so I still use lip balm after applying this.

I think CLIO (under the same company with Peripera) have good quality products, but they seem to be not really popular, especially outside Korea, if compared to other brands like Etude and Face Shop. With their new brand ambassador, Sandara Park, I hope they can get more attention.

I use CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint in #4 Orange Wedges almost everyday now. The natural glossy finish is just pretty. I want to repurchase and try another color, maybe the Flat Pink, but it's still difficult to find online shops on my country that sells CLIO products, especially this one.
