NYX Wanderlust Eye & Lip Palette in Madrid

I travel a lot, actually. Mostly it's a quick getaway (two or three days) so I like to bring compact and travel-sized makeup items, such as a versatile makeup palette. One of my go-to palette is this palette from NYX, Wanderlust Eye & Lip Palette in Shade Madrid.

I've tried several skincare products but none were suitable enough for my skin. Then, I found these holy grail: Secret Key 24K Gold Premium Series.

SECRET KEY 24K Gold Premium First Essence

Jenis kulitku memang bukan jenis kulit sensitif, jadi nggak terlalu rewel kalau dikasih produk baru. Waktu masih sekolah dulu jenis kulitku normal kombinasi, sedikit berminyak di area T. Tapi semakin tua berumur dewasa sepertinya kulitku ini makin kering.

Sekitar 3 tahun yang lalu aku mulai memakai Hada Labo Shirojyun series. Hasilnya lumayan oke tapi kulitku tetap terasa kering di bagian tertentu. Kemudian aku beralih ke varian lain yaitu Gokujyun series yang lebih melembabkan. Saat sudah masuk usia 24, aku mulai mencari produk skincare yang mengandung anti aging. Tapi saat aku mencoba Hada Labo Gokujyun Alpha, mulai muncul jerawat di dahiku, bergantian dan nggak berhenti sampai lebih dari 3 bulan. Saat aku menghentikan pemakaian, jerawat pun berangsur hilang tapi meninggalkan bekas yang menghitam.

Nah, setelah berpetualang mencari produk yang cocok, akhirnya aku menemukan produk ini: SECRET KEY 24K Gold Premium Series.

Sebenarnya brand Secret Key sudah lebih dulu dikenal dengan produknya yang juga dupe dari SKII FTE, yaitu Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence (STE). STE ini terdiri dari 2 seri, Original dan Rose Edition. Keduanya sama-sama mengandung Galactomyces Essence yaitu ekstrak fermentasi dari ragi / yeast (atau dipatenkan dengan nama Pitera oleh SKII). Karena aku menghindari skincare / kosmetik yang mengandung bahan hasil fermentasi, aku memilih seri 24K Gold Premium yang tidak mengandung Galactomyces.

Missha The Style White Tea Lip&Eye Makeup Remover Review

Today's review will be about MISSHA The Style White Tea Lip&Eye Makeup Remover I bought several months ago.

First thing first... What is makeup remover?

Makeup remover is a product used to remove the makeup products applied on the skin. It cleans the skin before other procedures, like applying bedtime lotion.

It is important to use makeup remover every day to completely remove foundation, eye makeup, and lipstick to allow the skin to "breathe" and prevent clogged pores, pimples, breakouts and dull skin.

Be sure to choose an eye makeup remover designed for the eyes, and a different regular makeup remover for the face. Eye makeup removers are designed to be gentler, as it is easy to irritate eyes. Our eye area is so delicate so we must handle it with much more effort. Be sure not to pull at the skin when removing makeup, particularly the delicate skin around the eyes.

When choosing a new makeup remover, it might be a good idea to test it in a small area to be sure an allergic reaction does not occur. If you are allergic, or if the product seems to cause irritation, switching to a different one is generally necessary.

I have small eyes and to make them popped out, wearing eyeliner will always be a part of my makeup routine. First eyeliners I have are pencils, and despite the fact that they are really easy to use, sometimes I just need more drama for my eyes....and it means that I need some liquid eyeliners. Afraid of getting difficulties using them, I decided to try cheaper liquid eyeliners. After doing some research, I bought one of Etude House's cheapest eyeliners: Oh m'Eye Line in Black.

Biore Make Up Remover Cleansing Oil Sheet

Setelah capek beraktivitas seharian, pasti deh pengen langsung naik ke atas kasur dan tidur sampai pagi. Enak banget, memang. Tapi.... jadi nyesel deh kalau tiba-tiba pas bangun besok paginya langsung muncul jerawat di wajah kita. Membersihkan wajah dari segala makeup dan kotoran yang sudah menempel seharian memang mau nggak mau harus kita lakukan. Tapi, kadang males banget harus pergi ke wastafel buat cuci muka, belum juga kalau harus pake makeup remover yang macem-macem jenisnya.

Therefore, cleansing sheets will always be a perfect option to a lazy girl like me.

Etude House Kissful Lip Care Concealer

Sorry for the long hiatus.. been very very busy lately (and honestly, I'm one of the worst procrastinator in the world).. but finally I'm back!

... for another review. This time I want to share my thoughts about Etude House Kissful Lip Care Concealer.

First thing first.. What is lip concealer...?

Lip concealer, hence the name, is concealer for the lips. Regular concealers are helpful in other areas of the face, but these products are generally not intended for use on your lips since your skin tone is different in that area. 

Lip concealer can be used for : 

• Help to minimize dark areas on and around your mouth, as well a s reduce redness associated with blemishes.
• Can be used as a primer for lipsticks. Applying lip concealers prior to lipstick can make the shade brighter and truer to the color shown on the product’s package. 
• Can help a lipstick color stay in place longer and avoid creasing or feathering.

These concealers come in a variety of styles, from traditional sticks to liquid versions. A solid lip concealer is similar in appearance and texture to a chapstick, and is less messy during use. At the same time, liquid concealers are often preferred if you only need to touch up a small area of the lips, as they sometimes come with a small applicator.

MakeOver Corrective Base Make Up in #01 Cyanite

As a relatively new addition to the beauty industry, primer has quickly become a must have product combating combination skin, large pores, or an uneven skin tone. 

Today I want to share about my first makeup primer/base: MakeOver Corrective Base Make Up. This makeup base available in 2 colors: #01 Cyanite and #02 Greenish. I don't have any problem with redness so I chose shade #01 Cyanite.

CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint #4 Orange Wedges

I always have tendency to buy lip products, all of them, especially the orange / peach / brown colored ones. They are like guilty pleasures to me. So, yeah. This is another review of lip product, my newest baby, CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint in shade #4 Orange Wedges.

CLIO Gelpresso Glow Tint was released before CLIO Lipnicure, but it has gone unnoticed (I think that's because all the hype caused by the lipnicure). I bumped into this when CLIO had a massive sale (up to 50%) on their korean website.

TonyMoly CatChu Wink Tony Tint in Orange Cha Cha

Since I started to love makeup, lip tint has become one of my fave beauty products. I like the liquid texture of lip tint because I personally do not like putting something sticky on my lips. And my fave lip tint at the moment is TonyMoly CatChu Wink Tony Tint in Orange Cha Cha. Please keep reading to know more about my thoughts about this tint.

3W CLINIC Intensive UV Sunblock Cream SPF 50+/PA+++

Protecting our skin against harmful UV rays is definitely a must. UV rays can make our skin age faster, apart from skin cancer, freckles, etc. There are no windows or clothes that can protect us against the UV. Even on cloudy days, apparently 40% of it can still reach us.
I always have a love hate relationship with sunblocks. They do wonders on your skin, but they also left some white cast. And I do not want to look like a ghost. Higher SPF sunblocks tend to left more visible white cast, so I avoided higher SPF and only used max SPF30 sunblocks. But I'm that type of person that too lazy to reapply sunblocks all the time. So, when I found 3W CLINIC Intensive UV Sunblock Cream SPF 50+/PA+++, I quickly purchased it without any further thinking.
Here's my review after using this sunblock for a month.

Note: 3W CLINIC is a Korean makeup brand and you might be unfamiliar with this brand since it's difficult to find outside Korea.

theBalm Instain Blush in Swissdot

Blushing cheeks can give you instant fresh-look. Because not everyone gifted the ability to blush their cheeks naturally (like me), blush on/blusher can give you the similar effect. Thus, today I want to share with you about my favorite blush now, theBalm Long Wearing Staining Powder Blush Instain, or for short, theBalm Instain Blush, in Swissdot.

Etude House Oh m'Eye Lash #3 Volume

For some people, wearing mascara's already be a part of their makeup routine, but I must say that mascara is still a new thing for me. I did wear them several times, but not on daily basis. As time goes by, I think I want to try mascara, at least I want to have them myself, and then I bought this one, Etude House Oh m'Eye Lash #3 Volume. 

Holika Holika Petit BB Cream Watery SPF 25 PA++

In terms of makeup and skincare, BB creams are always one of my favorite because they can cover your skin imperfections yet still have many benefits for your skin. Those properties make them very convenient, perfect for daily use. Another thing with BB Creams is that you can actually use only the BB Cream and your skin will instantly look better.

I already tried some BB Creams, most of them are Etude and Skinfood's, but this is the first time I try Holika Holika's.
